Our Mission

In partnership with the community, the Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition, Inc. provides programming to improve the well-being of East Baltimore residents.

Our Programs

  • Youth Opportunity

    The Youth Opportunity (YO!) program provides educational and employment resources for youth (18-24) that are not enrolled in school

  • Dee's Place

    Dee’s Place provides addiction recovery support for people at all stages of their recovery led by peer support coaches

  • The NEST

    The NEST is a 10 bed community-based emergency youth shelter meant to connect residents to permanent housing solutions

A little-known yet growing concern among social service workers and those operating homeless shelters across the United States is the increasing number of older Americans experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
