On June 20th 2023, dozens of family members, community members, and YO! Staff members gathered to celebrate Youth Opportunity (YO) Baltimore graduates who received their GEDs on this very special night.

Dee’s Place Volunteer Peer, Derrick George, passed his test to become a State of Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS). Read more about Derrick’s journey here.

On May 25th, 2023 we held a retirement party that paid tribute to Jeff Thompson, HEBCAC’s former deputy director and dedicated community leader who committed 23 years to serving East Baltimore.

AZIZA PE&CE had their 10th Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser, STRUT X, on Saturday, March 25th at the Hippodrome Theatre.

The flowers in the Milton Montford community garden are blooming with beauty, but not without the hard work of community member Ms. Sarah Broadwater!

Not only did the kids learn how to work in teams, they were also informed about resources and opportunities regarding continuing education and jobs.
