The Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition (HEBCAC) is seeking a Job Developer to help facilitate a non-traditional, innovative, and comprehensive career exploration, job readiness development and employment placement services program for Baltimore City youth participants ages 18 to 24 for the HEBCAC Youth Opportunity (YO!) Center. General work under this position includes working with youth to define goals based upon career goals, interests, strengths, and developmental needs.
YO! Baltimore - Part-time GED Instructor (1)
The Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition (HEBCAC) is seeking a part-time GED Instructor to facilitate a non-traditional, innovative, and comprehensive system of PRE- GED and GED Ready educational services for Baltimore City youth ages 18 to 24 participating in the Youth Opportunity (YO!) Center. This position will develop and deliver ABE basic, general education and/or Pre-GED/ GED classed to youths at varying levels of subject mastery. This is teaching work at the full performance level.

The Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition (HEBCAC) is seeking Employment Advocates who will be responsible for managing a caseload of (50-75) youth and developing individualized educational and career plans.
Dee’s Place Part-time Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (1)
The Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition is seeking a part-time Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (Outreach Worker) who will be able to build a trust-based relationship with participants while assisting participants in their journey toward recovery and wellness. The Peer Recovery Specialist will act as a role model to participants in such areas as: identifying personal strengths, conflict resolution, building self-esteem, recovery skills.

NEST Full-time Residential Service Worker (1)
Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition, Inc. (HEBCAC) is seeking a full-time Residential Service Worker to be a member of the HEBCAC Team with the objective to support the mission of The NEST, a Youth Emergency Transitional Shelter. The RSW is responsible for monitoring activities of the residents of the shelter to ensure compliance with the program rules and expectations. RSW will assist the residents with all their needs while establishing and maintaining a safe environment during their stay at the shelter. RSW will help the residents achieve success in transitioning to permanent housing. RSW will be required to maintain confidentiality and input data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS).
