Youth Opportunity (YO!) Baltimore Unveils Colorful New Mural

We are excited to share the colorful transformation of HEBCAC’s 1212 N. Wolfe Street Building with the unveiling of a captivating new mural that highlights our Youth Opportunity (YO!) Baltimore Center. This vibrant work of art, created by Baltimore Muralist Andy Dahl, has reinvigorated the front of our building, infusing it with color, energy, and a renewed sense of purpose.

The mural not only serves to brighten our main entrance but also alludes to meaningful opportunities that exist behind our purple door and welcomes youth, families, and supporters to join us inside. YO! Baltimore provides services to youth (aged 18-24) not currently enrolled in school so that they are able to obtain their GED and/or connect with employment opportunities.

Our new mural more adequately reflects the vibrant and limitless potential of the youth we serve and our wider community. We invite you see our new mural for yourself and learn more about YO! Baltimore and the great work happening here at HEBCAC.

Special thanks to Baltimore Regional Neighborhood Initiative funding from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development and to muralist Andy Dahl who made this transformative mural possible.
